You can receive BENLYSTA directly from an in-network specialty pharmacy. Specialty pharmacies provide medicines for serious or chronic conditions that need special handling, storage, or administration, and may not be available at regular pharmacies.
Your specialty pharmacy will work with you, your doctor, and insurance companies to make sure you get the medicine you need safely and on time. While your prescription is being approved, the specialty pharmacy will call you to discuss important information and collect your copay. If you don't hear from them, be sure to check your voicemail for any message about prescriptions to avoid possible delays.
Once you pay your copay, BENLYSTA will be shipped directly to you or, if you receive BENLYSTA in your doctor’s office, to that location instead.

In some cases, your doctor will order, purchase, and administer BENLYSTA in the office. After your treatment, the doctor’s office sends a bill to your health insurance for the cost of the medication and its administration. Your insurance then processes the claim and pays the doctor. You may be responsible for a copay, which you would pay directly to the doctor’s office at your visit or after receiving a bill. If you are enrolled in the BENLYSTA Copay Program, your doctor’s office will collect your copay card information to apply your benefits.
This means you don’t need to pick up the medication from a pharmacy. Everything is handled through your doctor’s office. For more information, ask your doctor or contact your Patient Navigator.
